Saviors of Saviors of Earth

Earthlings, Chiaroscuros and Sfumatos, United to Save the Saviors

In my last update I mentioned my friend that works for the anti-cult squad. At the end of our conversation I asked him about SOE. He said that he knows of SOE and of Brad Johnson. SOE was placed on a watch list, but in early December was placed on a higher priority watch list due to more extreme behavior being observed by some members. He also said that there are four "leaders" that are being watched. He did not mention their names, but did mention: Canadian male, South African male, Swedish female, and Argentina female. I can guess the first two people, but I don't know the others. Authorities in these countries were notified and these people are under surveillance.

He told me one of the main issues with new cults like SOE is the use of the internet. Since SOE is so decentralized, it is much harder for the authorities to keep an eye on what is going on and they are worried they might not be able to protect their citizens if any extreme orders are given. In the US, these squads were recently given access to the Homeland Security databases because it was believed that some of these cults would be infiltrated by terrorist organizations. While my friend does not believe that to be true, he does find the new access and powers granted to them very useful. His squad recently was able to stop a group of 12 members in the New England area from killing themselves. They belonged to a cult that believed in something called "the harvest". The leader had proclaimed they were ready for "the harvest" and were going to create phosphine gas to kill themselves. Luckily they were stopped on December 11th 2008, a day before they were going to commit suicide.

He said the purpose of these anti-cult squads are not to destroy the belief and faith of any of the cult members. The purpose is to stop another Heaven's Gate or the Japanese cult that used gas to attack the subway from happening. He even joked that two of his squadmates are pagans. I asked him what he thought about SOE personally. He recently began investigating the group himself because he was receiving reports from concerned parents in Boston schools. SOE and similar cults are reaching out to the younger generations that use the internet and using New Age philosophy to lure them into their beliefs.

I asked if there was any way that SOE would turn into the type of cult that would get people to commit suicide and he said there was a high probability that people might kill themselves. He said there are many reasons why. The first would be because they believed they had to fulfill the end goal of their belief. The second would be because they felt disappointed that they had not reached the same state as the leaders. The third would be because they pushed their real friends and family away due to their new beliefs. He gave a few more after that, but I don't remember them all.

As we were finishing the conversation and me assuring him that I would not do anything stupid like kill myself he told me something that I cannot forget and has been in my mind since that phonecall. This is a direct quote. "It is estimated that, by the end of 2012, over 5000 Americans will end their own life due to their beliefs in the end of the world or spiritual evolution". Over 5000 Americans. That is more than the people that died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. I can only imagine how many people will be affected by this. Parents, spouses, and children.

Clarifications suggested by Ullan:

I think it should be clarified that at no time he actually mentioned SoE as a cult promoting suicide, only that it may, at one point in the future, evolve into a type of cult which may encourage that.

Please also add that we are, in fact, a community about the promotion of unconditional love, and explicitly discourage anyone from taking their own lives, or any sort of violent action towards any other being.

wow thanks again man for the great info, It's good to know there are professionals on top of this kinda thing, but like I said all this crazy belief in 2012 and all these people putting all their chips into ascension, losing family and friends and jobs.. It really is gonna be sort of a weird sad time that may claim the lives of a lot of confused people, no matter how many people say we're assholes or trolls I think we should continue keeping a watch over this SOE business, if theres a chance that just one person who might have killed themselves dosen't because they're shown all the reasons why these prophecies and promises aren't something they should listen to or believe then its more than worth it

Keep up the good work, chap. The information you provided was the dog's bollocks. I will go into more detail later when I have a chance. I would have joined months ago but saw the path they were moving towards. I've kept an eye on SOE for too long and bit my lip one too many times.

"The first would be because they believed they had to fulfill the end goal of their belief."

So Ascension. One of the elements that has been most prominent over the course of this spiritual movement, to me personally, since Brad started making his videos and blog, is while 'Love and Light' were popular buzzwords, they were never considered or referred to as what should be the driving force for good in the world. Indeed, ascension was the driving force. Evolving your mad ass alien astral travelling powers and becoming a God-like being. Eyes on the prize.

"The second would be because they felt disappointed that they had not reached the same state as the leaders."

And of course they damn wouldn't. They are to an extent sane and honest people (some of them). You'd need some self convincing that the products of your imagination are real for that to happen.

"The third would be because they pushed their real friends and family away due to their new beliefs."

Evidence of this is rampant over there. It's heartbreaking. I may cap some of it for personal reference.. which I had some guilt about, but fuck it. The internet is public forum. Don't publish what you don't want seen.

Adding Ullan's response from SOE just in case the original is deleted:

Greetings all.
At this juncture, I must state that it is a requirement you read this reply from top to bottom, without skipping a single part, and in chronological order. I will not reply to any message that is aimed at only a part, or a single sentence, of this reply.

I've read this article when it was first posted, and discussed it at length with HR. That's also why the original article carries one of my usual diplomatic clarifications.

I feel, however, that a word of warning is in order. As this is not information brought forward by a member on the basis of a weblink, possible corrupted source or any other wellspring of information which may be seen as obscure, but information which has been provided through a member by a branch of the police (and I thank HR for posting that), it can be said to be indisputable that an anti-cult cell is keeping at the least a weather eye on this community.

Does this mean this community is a Cult? No, it does not, only that certain people are worried that it might, at some point in the future, become one.

However, that said, it can be argued that with the emergence of more and more web communities, the anti cult task forces are working overtime. We have reached the phase in web development where creating a virtual group of people in a de facto organization becomes not only feasible, but also simple enough to carry out on a large scale, as evidenced by the sudden spate of ning.com communities and assorted spin-offs. Just as in the days of early printing, there will be those who try to either suppress, control, or check every word written and published.

Is this possible? No it is not.

This means that in order to satisfy the need for security, public safety and the worries of concerned parents and constituents at the same time, many of these communities are lumped together on a watch list and occasionally skimmed for possible volatile content.

Groups which deal with conspiracy theories will automatically be put on such a list.
Groups which deal with 'new age' or 'alternative' theories will also, automatically, be put on such a list.
Groups which deal with spirituality automatically end up on such a list.
Groups which in any way deal with religion, or the negation thereof, instantly end up at the top of such lists.

You can see why a community like SOE raises red flags in a system designed to blanket check a growing and almost innumerable amount of virtual communities. Rest assured, however, that not only SOE but quite a few other communities end up on such lists, including most likely many of our sister sites and even SOSOE.

Notable and visible members of these communities should expect to be put on a watch list themselves. This does not mean they are being watched, as such, but only that they are known to be visible and contributing members to any community currently on any watch list. As you can imagine, we're probably talking about thousands upon thousands of people here, people who have done nothing more than make a post to a site being tracked on a list alongside with countless others. I've accepted the fact that I'm probably on such a list myself. It does not bother me.

Here's my point: when you deal with spirituality, religion, ascension, politics, ET's, UFO's, chemtrails, free energy or anything classified as 'alternative', you can expect authorities to always be suspicious and keep a quiet eye on you. That's simply the way this Politically Correct world works right now.

I thank Deus Ex for reposting the original article.
I thank HR PuffnStuff for the original article.
I thank Saviors of Earth for giving me a soapbox to mention this all on.
I thank the Illinois District Attorney for reading this all the way to the bottom. (Just kidding and taking a wild stab at where this article will end up. Not sure if you will be reading it, DA, but if you are, give me a call ;))
