Greetings all.
At this juncture, I must state that it is a requirement you read this reply from top to bottom, without skipping a single part, and in chronological order. I will not reply to any message that is aimed at only a part, or a single sentence, of this reply.

I've read this article when it was first posted, and discussed it at length with HR. That's also why the original article carries one of my usual diplomatic clarifications.

I feel, however, that a word of warning is in order. As this is not information brought forward by a member on the basis of a weblink, possible corrupted source or any other wellspring of information which may be seen as obscure, but information which has been provided through a member by a branch of the police (and I thank HR for posting that), it can be said to be indisputable that an anti-cult cell is keeping at the least a weather eye on this community.

Does this mean this community is a Cult? No, it does not, only that certain people are worried that it might, at some point in the future, become one.

However, that said, it can be argued that with the emergence of more and more web communities, the anti cult task forces are working overtime. We have reached the phase in web development where creating a virtual group of people in a de facto organization becomes not only feasible, but also simple enough to carry out on a large scale, as evidenced by the sudden spate of ning.com communities and assorted spin-offs. Just as in the days of early printing, there will be those who try to either suppress, control, or check every word written and published.

Is this possible? No it is not.

This means that in order to satisfy the need for security, public safety and the worries of concerned parents and constituents at the same time, many of these communities are lumped together on a watch list and occasionally skimmed for possible volatile content.

Groups which deal with conspiracy theories will automatically be put on such a list.
Groups which deal with 'new age' or 'alternative' theories will also, automatically, be put on such a list.
Groups which deal with spirituality automatically end up on such a list.
Groups which in any way deal with religion, or the negation thereof, instantly end up at the top of such lists.

You can see why a community like SOE raises red flags in a system designed to blanket check a growing and almost innumerable amount of virtual communities. Rest assured, however, that not only SOE but quite a few other communities end up on such lists, including most likely many of our sister sites and even SOSOE.

Notable and visible members of these communities should expect to be put on a watch list themselves. This does not mean they are being watched, as such, but only that they are known to be visible and contributing members to any community currently on any watch list. As you can imagine, we're probably talking about thousands upon thousands of people here, people who have done nothing more than make a post to a site being tracked on a list alongside with countless others. I've accepted the fact that I'm probably on such a list myself. It does not bother me.

Here's my point: when you deal with spirituality, religion, ascension, politics, ET's, UFO's, chemtrails, free energy or anything classified as 'alternative', you can expect authorities to always be suspicious and keep a quiet eye on you. That's simply the way this Politically Correct world works right now.

So Ascension. One of the elements that has been most prominent over the course of this spiritual movement, to me personally, since Brad started making his videos and blog, is while 'Love and Light' were popular buzzwords, they were never considered or referred to as what should be the driving force for good in the world. Indeed, ascension was the driving force. Evolving your mad ass alien astral travelling powers and becoming a God-like being. Eyes on the prize.

And of course they damn wouldn't. They are to an extent sane and honest people (some of them). You'd need some self convincing that the products of your imagination are real for that to happen.

Keep up the good work, chap. The information you provided was the dog's bollocks. I will go into more detail later when I have a chance. I would have joined months ago but saw the path they were moving towards. I've kept an eye on SOE for too long and bit my lip one too many times.

wow thanks again man for the great info, It's good to know there are professionals on top of this kinda thing, but like I said all this crazy belief in 2012 and all these people putting all their chips into ascension, losing family and friends and jobs.. It really is gonna be sort of a weird sad time that may claim the lives of a lot of confused people, no matter how many people say we're assholes or trolls I think we should continue keeping a watch over this SOE business, if theres a chance that just one person who might have killed themselves dosen't because they're shown all the reasons why these prophecies and promises aren't something they should listen to or believe then its more than worth it
