There have been a few horror movies I have seen that were really good. Have you seen "The Descent"? That was good. It came out a few years back. It's about a group of women that go cave exploring and what they find, etc. I was really impressed with that.
I like classics mostly. "The Thing" the Kurt Russell one from the 80's. "The Fog" the one from the 80's. Basically mostly movies from the 80's. LOL.
I also like most of the zombie movies, with a few exceptions.
I have "It" on DVD. That is a good one, too.
Did you see the sequel to "Carrie"? I think it's called "The Rage: Carrie 2." That wasn't bad as sequels go.
I will let you know if I can think of any more.

I think it was remade in 1997, and it was a tv miniseries. I thought it was much closer to the book than the first movie, the one with Jack Nicholson in it. But, I have to say, I liked both versions pretty equally. :-)
