My apologies for the spam you may have received from the now-banned Ning spambot account. Fortunately, James noticed the spam right away and began cleaning everything up. A big Thank You to James for catching the spammer in the act!
This is one of the risks we take by having a wide-open network. We leave ourselves open to attacks from not only from our welcome critics but also from unwelcome malicious spammers. I know that you all value this openness, and I believe most (if not all) of you are willing to deal with the nuisance of the spam in exchange for an open social network free of censorship. Because of that, I will be ignoring the advice from Ning to change to moderated membership. Thank you for your understanding!
Thanks LS. Original images incase anyone wanted to see the trail of destruction left behind. Webpage link on the comments left behind has been censored to prevent said user from getting any traffic from this site at least.
