I'd love if they can show me some facts that this is really going to happen, but I guess they'd say "the evidence is in your library" :P

is it really about disclosure or is it about these people wishing desperately for the grim reality of everyday life to be saved for them?

If they're waiting for the government to release all the info and evidence on aliens why can they assume that these aliens are all harmonious commie aliens who will abolish money and promote peace. Maybe they aliens love capitalism even more than we do, we don't know till we have some sort of evidence and I don't know how serious I can take these people when I hear a lot of just wishful thinking from some homeless people who want free energy to grant them spaceships

What pies said really. I mean how do they even know that the aliens have good intentions if they were to turn up on Earth? (Please see the documentary "Indendance Day" for an audio, visual representation of this scenario)
