Testing out the contact us part of expression of soul (Autism Edition)
Ok so yesterday I decided to put Brads logic to the test by creating a character.
He goes by the name of Bob Bergen and unfortunatly he suffers from Autism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autism
In a nutshell THERE IS NO CURE AND NEVER WILL BE A CURE FOR AUTISM I know someone in my local area that suffers from Autism and it's truly a depressing thing to behold. Bob Bergen does not exhist btw.
Anyway so I used the following in the comments box:

Do you happen to have any services that'd allow me to shed myself of my Autism?

And the next morning I received this in my fake inbox I had setup.

Another thing I ought to add regarding Autism and how it works is the way a person with Autism is channeled/focused to one certain thing. In Bobs case he had all his hopes, focus and attention towards getting a cure for Autism at that moment in time when he sent the message off. So when Bob reads the email he gets back from Brad his focus is immediately drawn to the word "YES". He hands his money over to Brad without question and Brad's effectively laughing all the way to the bank as Bob hands over his money for treatment that is NOT scientifically nor medically sound for what the sheer scope of Autism truly is.
As I've said previously please be sure to read the Wikipedia article and do a search in Google. It and the other Autism awareness sites will explain to you how Autism works and the sheer scope of what it is.
The sheer spectrum of behavioural symptoms that arise with Autism is so wide that I just cannot cover everything here. But my analogy of the scenario I was running through beforehand should be more than enough to put it in perspective.
As I said previously the ONLY scientifically and medically sound way to treat/control Autism is with mind altering/bending drugs which completely sheds a person of their normal mindset which in a way cannot even be considered as treatment. Nothing more, nothing less.

What is going on here? The question is clearly asking for a cure to get rid of autism. The answer is "Yes [i.e we can rid you of your autism]" but then it's followed by "we have a variety of blah blah to help you with autism [i.e helping you dealing with it, while it remains]". If the "yes" part of the answer isn't referring to the question that the person asked, what IS it referring to... a question that Brad chose to ignore in exchange for answering a more convenient question that wasn't even asked? Yeah, Brad does that often. The chance of this being an honest mistake are close to none.
So the REAL answer is "No, we can't rid you of autism, BUT we have a variety of blah blah to help you with autism". Of course, you'd have to actually have some semblance of integrity to answer in such a way.
