Awesome video and the three members sound exactly like some of our little friends that come over here to harass us. Much respect to Mark a.k.a Kermit The Frog for taking them on.

Yea, I understand what you mean by "some study", Jayden. Indeed, you're right in what you say regarding marketing techniques. In the first place, they are a psychological weapon, there's not a shadow of a doubt about that. Yet, Brad is not very good at it, unlike some of his colleagues. This said, even though some others are far better at it, they all look like fools in the end though.

Answering questions with questions, irrational speech and behavior, yea… It rings my bell. The thing is, no one really needs to "study cults" to create one. It just takes an oversized ego and delusions of grandeur…

There was that kid, when I was at school, who was extremely shy and the solitary type. He was rather nice should you talk to him, but he was never the one to start a conversation.
After StarWars hit the big screens, he was totallyswept off his feet by it — as most of us kids were. Another kid suggested him to start some kind of StarWars fans group. Within a week, the handful of us were loaded with "official" membership cards and assigned a rank and all.

Upon the fourth meeting — those were only taking place at school during lunch break —, one of our friends seemed bored and as angel was passing he said: "Well, what is this group for anyway?"
I completely understood what he meant, for I too was just wondering what was it worth to be part of the StarWars secret society if it was to sit on our asses and say something, anything SW related that everyone would reply to by saying "Yea, oh yea!".
Richard — the "boss" —, went in a rage that turned my blood into ice (and probably not only mine). The shy lonely kid was just mutating into a werewolf right before my kid's eyes! He barked that if we were not happy or disagreed with his views on what we should do or share, we could as well get lost and we were not worth his time and this group anyway.
The StarWars secret society didn't last long after that…

Richard never became a cult leader though. I have no idea what has been his life afterwards. Oddly enough, I've read about him a few months ago. It seems he has become quite a charismatic figure in some obscure far right political group. Thinking about it, I'm sure he must be doing very well there.

Creepy. Yes.

Oh man. I can truly imagine if SOE got as big as Scientology (not a cat in hells chance thankfully) that videos like this one could easily be repeated. Seriously though the irrational, illogical babble that the scientologists spat out is essentially what happens in the SOE forums if you try to have a rational conversation with them over reality.

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this. The accusation of "fear" often comes up when someone rejects scientology dogma and not surprisingly, SOE dogma as well. It actually creeps me out when the similarities start to surface, but I usually hope it's just some kind of coincidence.
