We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
And the community heralds Kerry as a loving, caring mother for her decision to return home. Get me something to be sick in, post haste! A loving, caring mother wouldn’t haved shipped her children off with microwave pizza so she can continue chatting with her online fling…a loving, caring mother wouldn’t have abandoned her kids and leave the country to go live with said internet fling in the first place. So typical of cults…it's Up Yours Society! but when things don’t work out they switch to Please, Society, Take me Back! Kerry crawling back to her family because reality bit her in the ass doesn’t make her a loving, caring mother. It makes her just another pathetic, hypocrite cultist with double standards. And what is the reality that bit Ker in the fanny anyway? Could it be that when she daydreamed about living with a man who claimed to master the Law of Abundance in possession of superpowers, she didn't expect to end up in a Motel 6 with a broke loser who had to admit he wasn’t even channeling for real?
Sorry, guys, but I feel a lot of compassion for Kerry right now. This is not the first woman I've met who got swept up by a fantasy and abandoned her family after for another person's promises. Would you be showing the same judgment towards the women who were swept up by the promises of Jim Jones and the People's Temple?
Personally, I'm grateful as hell that something triggered this woman to go home. We really don't know what's in her past and what pushed her to this point of believing in Brad Johnson "promises" (read: "lies"). I'm telling you from first hand experience, people can change. I encourage Kerry to channel all her energy into being the best damned mother she can be. And if she starts to fall into a well of self-doubt, we should be here to encourage her to work her ass off and rise above that doubt.
Kerry, if by some strange twist of fate you're reading this, I mean this with all my heart. I wish you and your children all the happiness ever, but you know it requires a lot of work. There's a lot of reconciliation to come. Best wishes to you and your family.
Seems the original post has been removed now. I notice that he didn't get a single response from SOE members. I guess they just don't make love and light like they used to.
